Founder of POSE4MAY DIGITAL, Mavis (May), was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Both of May's are parents from the southern part of the country and they enabled a creative environment for their children, instilling in them confidence, drawn to adventure and innovation. That empowering background allowed Mavis explore different aspects of life which has led to this point of becoming a global sensation.

With an academic background in Philosophy and Public Administration. Her content and hardwork has enabled her to collaborate and work with prominent organisations, including George Clooney's Foundation for Justice, Itel, Transcorp Hilton, Connected Development, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Carry1st, among others.

Coming from a family of nerds, and otakus, May grew up surrounded by gaming culture. Her first encounter with games were through board games, and she learned how to play Scrabble from her father. To this day, she is always ready for a challenge (and if you think you can beat her, all we can say is good luck with that!). Her dad has played a crucial role in shaping her gaming interests; he introduced her to her first PC game, Spider Solitaire, when she was just nine years old. Encouraged her to join her older siblings play Winning 11 and GTA: Vice City on the family desktop. It is no surprise today that she gravitates toward strategy and puzzle games, currently fixating on Marvel Snap!
